Rutgers 28 Louisville 25

I said I'd give Rutgers respect when they earned it.

Behold. My dinner.

Congrats Rutgers. Dammit.

Damn clown above...

I'm still not sure if I think Rutgers it that good. I mean, what have they really done? Yes, they beat Louisville, who beat what, Miami right? Is beating Miami that impressive this year? They beat UNC (not by much necessarily) who lost to GT by 7. I know, I know, comparative analysis is bull shit in college football, but something is missing here.

Why isn't Boise State getting some press too?

Boise truly hasn't played anyone. Utah does not count. That's my thought on them. Cute field, horrible schedule.

Rutgers beat the team I thought was legitimately in the top three. As a result they get some love. They played a vicious blitzing game that turned and otherwise solid QB into goo. Do they have that kind of success against Pat White who doesn't have a broken thumb and actually has feet? Probably not. White's another breed of QB that I don't think rutgers has seen yet.

Still, based on wins, they have to move up. As long as the Big East is a BCS conference, they get to reap those benfits. Plus, their win over louisville proved that the Big East isn't a two team conference and a bunch of clowns. It's now at least three teams deep, which you legitimately need for a conference.

I think West Virginia will beat them at the close of the year, but I said that about louisville. So I'm not going to penalize them for a game they haven't played.
